♡Sally's Ten Minute Makeup Look♡
Minute 1
Stop freaking out. Somehow manage to get primer on my face. I'm using this oil control primer from Maybelline
Minute 2-3
Slather my face in concealer. I'm currently out of foundation, but I use concealer to hide my acne for a medium coverage. I use this one from NYX, but if you want a fuller coverage one, I recommend this one from Kat Von D
Minute 4
Blend it all out! I use a knock off beauty blender from TJ Maxx. You can also use one from RealTechniques
Minute 5
Set it all with setting powder! I'm using this All About Matt! setting powder by essence. I just go in with one of my unicorn powder brushes and make sure that all my concealer has been mattified!
Minute 6-7
Brows!!! I think that brows are one of the most important parts of a complete face. Brows are so so so important when it comes to framing the face! I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (get it at Sephora or Ulta) along with the accompanying brush!
Minute 7
Eyeshadow time! I used a really simple look with my Too Faced Natural Love palette using the shade "Heaven" on my lids and "Push Up" in my crease. "Push Up" is a light enough shade that it doesn't need blending, but is still a gorgeous contrast to the lid shade.
Minute 8
I line my eyes with this liquid eyeliner from bh cosmetics. It's really affordable and it gives me a really dark black line, which is absolutely amazing. With the eyeliner, I give myself a subtle cat eye. I love the winged look, plus it emphasizes my lashes, which is something I desperately need. I also throw on some of my Too Faced Better Than Sex mascara which is my #1 fave mascara ever! (get it at Ulta or Sephora)
Minute 9
Quickly swipe some chapstick over my lips. I love the simple gloss that it gives my lips, and I don't have to worry too much about reapplying, smudging, or fading!
I also have time to highlight my face, so I use this highlighter from wet n wild cosmetics in "Precious Petals" and I apply it with a fan brush on my cheekbones, brow bone, chin, and nose. I also like my highlight to look blinding, so I will sweep my fan brush over these areas multiple times.
Minute 10
Quickly add some contour in the hollows of my cheeks. I don't apply too much, because I honestly don't know what I'm doing when it comes to contour, but I follow where my face is naturally contoured and put in product to emphasize it. I used the Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection palette (get it at Ulta or Sephora) shade "Medium Deep" in this area.
Finally, I complete my look with a few spritzes of this oil control setting spray from Makeup Revolution.
And then proceed to grab my backpack and run to my car so I don't miss class.
I hope you guys enjoyed this quick makeup tutorial! Just remember that this makeup look needs practice before you can get it down in 10 minutes. As always, leave a comment if you liked this blog post, and let me know what you want to see in the future. Beaucoup d'amore♡
