♡ Sally's June Favorites ♡
Hey everyone! June was by far one of the busiest months in my life. I got to go on two trips that kept me on my toes, but also allowed me to realize my essentials for this month! I present to you, my June favorites!
-Kat Von D Lock-It Foundation in Light 49 Neutral ($35 at Sephora)
I've been using this foundation for a few months now, and it definitely deserves all the
hype it's getting! If you're looking for a foundation that has a heavy coverage, a large
variety of shades, and is vegan, definitely check this out!
-Kat Von D Lock-It Setting Powder in Translucent ($15 for travel sized, $30 for full at Sephora)
I can get really oily in the summer and often, my makeup will wear away because of how
oily I get. I love this setting powder because it doesn't feel like you're caking your face
with a heavy layer of makeup and it helps you stay matte all day!
-Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara in Black ($12 for travel sized, $23 for full at Sephora)
I typically stray away from mascaras, because my lashes are super straight, and
mascaras typically transfer to my under eyes, but I've heard such amazing reviews on
this mascara that I had to pick up a travel size and try it. This is the first mascara that
won't transfer which is a miracle to me!
-Too Faced Natural Love Palette ($59 at Sephora)
I was unsure of buying this palette at first because of the steep price, but Isabella raved
about it, so I had to check out the hype. This eyeshadow palette has amazing variety,
and every color seems to work with one another. I absolutely love the formula of the
eyeshadow and how it looks on me.
-Too Faced Cocoa Contour Chiseled to Perfection in Medium to Deep ($42 at Sephora)
This is an awesome contour palette if you're new to contouring. I love the lighter contour
shade and the highlight color for casual days and adding the darker contour in when I'm
going for more of a glam look.
-Wet n Wild MegaGlo Highlighting Powder in Precious Petals ($5 at Wet n Wild)
I was so surprised to see one of my favorite makeup Instagram pages raving about how
amazing this highlighting powder is, so I stopped by my local Walmart to pick one up.
Honestly the results shocked me, because the highlight and shimmer that this powder
gives is probably one of the most amazing shimmers out there. If I'm being honest, I
think I like this highlight better than the one in the Cocoa Contour Palette.
-Wet n Wild Contour and Large Eyeshadow Brush ($2 and $1 respectively at Wet n Wild)
I found these brushes for $1 a piece at my local Dollar Tree, and I have seen awesome
reviews on them on YouTube, so I picked them out to try, and they do an amazing job of
picking up and transferring color. The only downside is that the white bristles are easy to
stain, but I don't mind that too much.
-Pureology Colour Fanatic Multi-Tasking Hair Beautifier ($26 and $41 at Ulta)
Colored hair can be a blessing and a pain, but I love this product because it really helps
to protect my hair from all the bleaching and coloring I've done to it.
-CIBU Knot So Knotty Anti-Breakage Detangler ($5 and $18 at CIBU)
I actually fried my hair bleaching it, so brushing through can be super painful regardless
of how much conditioner that I use. I love this product because it only takes a few
spritzes to work its magic and strengthen my colored hair.
-LUSH Tea Tree Water Toner Water ($11-23 at LUSH Cosmetics)
I have always been and always will be a fan of LUSH cosmetics. Natural, handmade
products? What can get better than that? This toner is amazing for oily skin, which
makes it my lifesaver in the summer. I also love applying this before I do a face mask!
-The Face Shop Jeju Volcanic Ash Nose Strips ($4 on Amazon)
I recently got into Korean skincare products after my cousin introduced me to them, and
these nose strips are amazing at getting the blackheads out of your nose and off your
chin. I use these once a week, and I get amazing results every time.
